2017 People's Choice- Best Nursing Home

We wish to express our sincere appreciation and thanks to the community for their ever growing support, and for voting us Effingham Daily News' Peoples Choice-Best Nursing Home of 2017! We are truly humbled and honored to receive this award. In a larger sense, however, this award is more appropriately deserved by all who have so generously supported our efforts with their “wealth, wisdom and work.” Heartland Christian Village is indeed a better place because of all of their labors working together with one common objective … security and peace of mind for our residents and their families.

Heartland is turning 25 this year!

 

We are celebrating at our Harvest Fest in October. At the celebration we will recognize these employees for their 25-years of dedication to our community and residents:

Over 25 years ago I was asked to open up a new facility in Neoga, IL, my wife and I had no idea where Neoga was on the map. With two sons in tow (Wes almost 3 and Zach one year old) we wanted to make sure this move was going to be good for our family. We prayed earnestly to God if this would be the move He wants for my family. God answered by giving us a sense of peace. We knew then Heartland and Neoga was the place to work and raise a young family. Now 25 years later; we still have that sense of peace. God has blessed us and Heartland Christian Village. We have been able to touch so many lives over the years and we will continue to with God’s blessing.
